Used Office Furniture vs New Cubicles: An Honest Price Comparison
If you are searching for used office furniture, you are almost certainly looking for one thing: cubicles that cost less. This page is an honest answer to that.
We do not sell used or refurbished furniture. We manufacture new cubicles and sell them direct, with no dealer in the middle. What follows is a straight comparison of what that costs against the used market, so you can decide which route suits your budget.

What New Actually Costs, Per Seat
Most people assume new cubicles cost far more than used. Here are our real current prices, per person:
| Configuration | Price per seat |
|---|---|
| 8-person call center block (4×2) | $435 – $489 |
| 2-person call center (5×2) | $627 – $657 |
| 6-person packed run (5×5) | $746 – $1,083 |
| 4-person quad (5×5) | $866 – $1,406 |
| 4-person quad (6×6) | $1,172 – $1,638 |
| Single workstation (6×6) | $1,338 – $1,987 |
Used cubicles typically sell for $300 to $800 per seat, depending on condition and configuration. On a call center layout, the gap between our new stations and typical used pricing is small. On larger shared configurations it narrows further, because neighboring workstations share panels.
We can price this way because there is no dealer margin. A conventional supply chain runs from manufacturer to dealer to customer, and the dealer layer takes a large share of the retail price.
What Used Furniture Actually Costs You
The purchase price is not the whole cost. These are the things that catch buyers out.
Mismatched and incomplete lots
Used furniture is sold as whatever came out of a particular office. If that lot is eleven workstations and you need fourteen, you are hunting for three more that match. Panel profiles, connector types and finishes vary between manufacturers, and between production years of the same manufacturer.
Missing parts and hardware
Connectors, brackets, end caps and cable covers go missing when an office is taken apart. Finding replacement parts for a discontinued system can take weeks, and a single missing connector can hold up a whole run.
Wear you only see after delivery
Fabric panels fade and stain, laminate edges chip and worksurfaces scratch. Photos rarely show it, and once the lot is on your floor, returning it is usually not practical.
Layouts built for someone else’s office
A used lot was designed around another company’s floor plan. Making it fit yours often means compromising on seat count or walkways, or paying to reconfigure it.
No warranty
Used and liquidation furniture is normally sold as-is. Every new cubicle panel we make carries a lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects.
What You Get When You Buy New, Direct
- Everything matches. Panels, worksurfaces and storage come from one production run, whether you order four seats or forty.
- Built to your space. Size, height, shape, panel material, fabric color and laminate finish can all be customized.
- Layout design. Our design team plans your floor at no charge. Send a floor plan, or just your headcount and room size.
- Built to order, fast. Your cubicles are built in about 2 weeks, plus transit time to your location.
- Easy to install. Clear hardware and simple panel connections mean your own team can set up without specialists.
- Delivered anywhere in the United States, straight from the manufacturer.
When Used Furniture Still Makes Sense
Used can be the right call if you need a handful of seats for a short-term space, you can inspect the lot in person before buying, and matching finishes do not matter to you. If you need a larger, matching layout that will last, new direct from the manufacturer is usually the better value.
