This website, cubicles.shop, is owned and operated by Markita, doing business as Cubicles Shop (“we”, “us”, “our”). We are a manufacturer-direct seller of new office cubicles, workstations and related office furniture, selling and shipping within the United States only.

This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit cubicles.shop, request a quote, subscribe to our newsletter or place an order — how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices and rights you have.

We collect only the information we need to answer your questions, process your order and run our website.

Information you give us directly:

• Name, company name, email address and phone number
• Billing address and shipping/delivery address
• Order details — products, quantities, finishes, fabrics, laminates and other selected options
• Details you include in a quote request, design-support request, bulk/wholesale enquiry or message to our team
• Account login details if you create an account on our site (we store a hashed password, never the password itself)
• Your email address if you subscribe to our newsletter

Information collected automatically when you browse:

• IP address, approximate region, browser type, device type and operating system
• Pages viewed, products viewed, time on page, and the site or search that referred you
• Cookie and similar identifiers used for the shopping cart, analytics and advertising measurement

We use the information described above to:

• Process, review, confirm and ship your order, and issue your invoice
• Calculate applicable sales tax, freight and packing charges at checkout
• Answer quote requests, design-support requests and customer-service enquiries
• Coordinate delivery, inside-delivery service and, where applicable, installation
• Handle damage claims, missing parts, returns, cancellations and warranty matters
• Send order confirmations, shipping notices and other transactional messages
• Send our newsletter and promotional offers, where you have asked to receive them
• Operate, secure, troubleshoot and improve the website and our product range
• Detect and prevent fraud, abuse and unauthorised access
• Meet our tax, accounting, warranty and other legal obligations

We do not use your personal information to make automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about you.

Payments made on cubicles.shop are processed by our payment providers, including Stripe for Visa, Mastercard and other supported card methods, and Bank ACH transfer for orders of $17,000 or more.

When you pay, your card or bank account details are transmitted directly to the payment processor over an encrypted connection. We do not see, receive or store your full card number, CVV or bank account number. What we receive back is limited to a confirmation of payment, the transaction reference, the payment method type and the last four digits of the card.

Our payment providers process your data as independent controllers under their own privacy policies and their PCI-DSS obligations.

Cookies are small text files placed on your device. cubicles.shop uses them in four ways:

• Strictly necessary — to keep items in your cart, keep you signed in, remember your checkout progress and protect the site from abuse. The site cannot work without these.
• Performance and caching — set by our content delivery and caching layer (Cloudflare and LiteSpeed/QUIC.cloud) so pages load quickly and the site stays available.
• Analytics — to understand which pages and products visitors use, in aggregate. See section 06.
• Advertising and measurement — to measure the results of our advertising and, where applicable, show relevant ads. See section 06.

You can block or delete cookies at any time through your browser settings, and most browsers offer a “Do Not Track” or global privacy control signal. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will prevent the cart and checkout from working.

We use a small number of third-party measurement tools on cubicles.shop:

• Google Analytics 4, deployed through Google Tag Manager — aggregate traffic and shopping behaviour reporting
• Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools — search performance reporting; these use aggregated search data, not individual profiles
• Meta (Facebook) pixel — measures the results of our advertising and may be used for audience building

These providers may set their own cookies and receive your IP address, device information and the pages you viewed on our site. Each acts under its own privacy policy. You can opt out of Google Analytics across all websites using Google’s browser add-on, and you can adjust ad personalisation in your Google and Meta account settings.

We share personal information only with the parties we need in order to run the business, and only with what they need:

• Payment processors — to take payment and process refunds
• Carriers and freight companies — UPS, FedEx, LTL freight carriers and their delivery agents receive your name, delivery address and phone number so they can deliver and schedule your shipment
• Our manufacturing and fulfilment facility — to build, pack and release your order
• Third-party installers — only where you have purchased installation, and only your site contact details and address
• Technology providers — website hosting, email delivery, security/CDN and the analytics providers listed in section 06
• Professional advisers and authorities — accountants, insurers or legal counsel, or a government body where the law requires disclosure

Transactional email — order confirmations, invoices, shipping notices and replies to your enquiries — is sent as part of the sale and is not marketing. You cannot unsubscribe from these while an order is live.

Marketing email — our newsletter and promotional offers — is only sent to people who subscribed or who bought from us. Every marketing email carries an unsubscribe link, and you can also unsubscribe at any time by emailing [email protected]. We action unsubscribes promptly.

We do not send marketing text messages, and we do not use auto-dialled marketing calls.

We keep personal information only as long as we have a reason to:

• Order and invoice records — retained for the period required by tax, accounting and warranty obligations (generally at least seven years)
• Quote and enquiry records — retained while the opportunity is live and for a reasonable follow-up period afterwards
• Account records — retained while your account is open; deleted or anonymised on request, except where an order record must be kept
• Newsletter subscriptions — retained until you unsubscribe
• Analytics data — retained in line with the provider’s default retention period, in aggregate form

cubicles.shop is served over HTTPS with TLS encryption on every page, and sits behind a security and content-delivery layer that filters malicious traffic. Administrative access to the website and to order records is restricted to authorised personnel and protected by individual accounts. Payment data is handled by PCI-DSS compliant processors and never stored on our systems.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If we ever become aware of a breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you and the relevant authorities as required by law.

Wherever you are in the United States, you may ask us to:

• Know what personal information we hold about you and how we use it
• Access a copy of that information
• Correct information that is inaccurate or out of date
• Delete your information, subject to records we must keep by law
• Opt out of marketing email at any time

California residents have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the CPRA, including the right to know the categories of personal information collected, the sources, the business purpose and the categories of third parties it is disclosed to; the right to delete; the right to correct; the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information; and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights.

An authorised agent may submit a request on your behalf with written permission.

We do not sell personal information for money, and we have not done so in the preceding twelve months. We also do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of anyone under 16.

Some of the advertising and analytics cookies described in sections 05 and 06 may count as “sharing” for cross-context behavioural advertising under California law. If you would prefer that they are not used, you can:

• Block or delete cookies in your browser, or browse in a private window
• Enable a Global Privacy Control signal in a browser or extension that supports it
• Email [email protected] with the subject line “Do Not Share” and we will action it

cubicles.shop is a business-to-business and business-to-consumer office furniture store intended for adults. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 16. If you believe a child has given us personal information, email [email protected] and we will delete it.

Our website links to third-party sites — for example our Google Business Profile and reviews, our social media profiles, and carrier tracking pages. Those sites are controlled by other companies and are governed by their own privacy policies. We are not responsible for their content or their handling of your information, and we encourage you to read their policies before providing personal information to them.

We may update this Privacy Policy as our business, our technology or the law changes. The current version is always published on this page, with the effective date shown at the top. Material changes will be reflected here before they take effect. Continuing to use cubicles.shop after an update means you accept the revised policy.
