Bulk Lots and Dealer Pricing

If you are searching for used office furniture, you are almost certainly looking for one thing: cubicles that cost less. This page is an honest answer to that.

We do not sell used or refurbished furniture. We manufacture new cubicles and sell them direct, with no dealer in the middle. What follows is a straight comparison of what that actually costs against the used market, so you can decide which route suits your budget.

What New Actually Costs, Per Seat

Most people assume new cubicles are far more expensive than used. Here are our real current prices, per person:

ConfigurationPrice per seat
8-person call center block (4×2)$435 – $489
2-person call center (5×2)$627 – $657
6-person packed run (5×5)$746 – $1,083
4-person quad (5×5)$866 – $1,406
4-person quad (6×6)$1,172 – $1,638
Single workstation (6×6)$1,338 – $1,987

Used cubicles typically sell for $300 to $800 per seat depending on condition and configuration. So on a call center layout the gap between our new stations and typical used pricing is small, and on larger shared configurations it narrows further, because adjacent workstations share panels.

The reason we can price this way is that there is no dealer margin. A conventional supply chain runs manufacturer to dealer to customer, and the dealer layer is where a large share of the retail price goes.

What Used Furniture Actually Costs You

The purchase price is not the whole cost. These are the things that catch buyers out.

Mismatched and incomplete lots

Used furniture is sold as whatever came out of a particular office. If that lot is eleven workstations and you need fourteen, you are hunting for three more that match. Panel profiles, connector types and finishes vary between manufacturers and between production years of the same manufacturer.
